6th Annual East Branch MGC Team Championship

No full team? No problem. Sign up as an individual, bring a friend or two, or register a full four-player team.

Join us Saturday, June 27 for a fun, social day of golf at The Meadows Golf Center. The East Branch MGC Team Championship is open to golfers of all ages and skill levels, from experienced players to casual golfers looking for a great day on the course.

Your registration includes an 18-hole team scramble, award-winning Southern BBQ on the turn and after the tournament, and entry into a cash prize fund with prizes for both the winning team and a randomly drawn team.

Come to compete, come for the BBQ, or come to spend the day playing golf with friends. Everyone is welcome.

Sign Up With or Without a Team

You do not need four players to register.

• Sign up individually and we will place you on a team
• Register with one or two friends and we will complete your group
• Bring your own four-player team
• All ages and skill levels are welcome

The scramble format makes the tournament approachable and social. Each player hits a shot, the team chooses the best result, and everyone plays their next shot from that location. It keeps the day moving and allows golfers of different experience levels to play together.

• Start Time: 11AM shotgun start
• Format: 18-hole team scramble
• Location: The Meadows Golf Center in Margaretville
• Food: Southern BBQ buffet included on the turn and after golf
• Prize Fund: $10 from every player entry goes into the cash prize fund

Early Registration

• Individual Golfer: $40
• Individual Golfer, Full MGC Member: $20
• Four-Player Team: $150
• Four-Player Team, Full MGC Members: $80

Signing up alone? Choose the Individual Golfer option. We will help place you on a team before the tournament.

Member pricing is available to full MGC members only. Membership status will be confirmed before tournament day. The full member team rate applies when all four players are full MGC members.

Day-of registration will be $50 per golfer or $190 per four-player team, subject to availability.

Cash Prize Fund

Every registration helps build the tournament prize fund.

• At least 66% of the prize fund will be paid to the winning team
• 33% will be paid to a randomly drawn team

You do not have to finish near the top to leave with a cash prize. The random drawing gives every participating team another chance to win.

Award-Winning Southern BBQ Included

Registration includes a full Southern BBQ buffet from All American BBQ at The Meadows. Food will be available on the turn and again after the tournament, so you can refuel during the round and sit down for more BBQ once golf is finished.

The BBQ is included in your entry price. There is no separate meal ticket required.

Stay for the Outdoor Movie

After the tournament, stick around for the first night of our free outdoor film series. We will be showing Mel Brooks’ classic Star Wars spoof, Spaceballs, at sundown around 8:45PM.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in on the grass. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.

How to Register

Select the registration option that fits your group and add it to your cart.

If you are registering a team, include your team name and player names in the order notes at checkout when available. It is okay if you do not have every player confirmed yet.

If you are registering individually, no additional information is needed. We will contact you with your team placement.
