OK... I tried to rev up participation in our weekly near pin / skins by switching things up to NET skins (with handicap) versus our traditional GROSS skins - and it was an epic failure. Two of you joined in (and will have your cash refunded) so ... never mind. Those of you who could have potentially taken skins with bogie net par - well - forget it. Back to the old ways and the relatively small pots and payoffs. We'll vote on it next year and I hope that we can get most all of you in on the fun - but perhaps not.

As mentioned earlier we didn't have enough participants to warrant near pin/skins... C'mon folks... You gotta be in it to win it... Pars are often good enough to win a skin...
Dustin and Mitch Van K led the Net scoring parade - though Mitch was this week's conductor on the bogie train (7 bogies in 9 holes) and that performance moved them to the top of the standings. Half of the field scored at 2 over par (net 31) or better so it seems that the handicap system is working adequately though the average net score of 32 is a little higher than I like to see...
Liam / Gary get to take their shot at 1st place Dustin / Mitch Van Keuren ... can the league leaders hold on to the top spot or will they tumble like the rest?
