So there was just no way to deny father and son Larry and Mitch Hull their due. Try as we might, once at the top no one could dislodge them. The standings held firm through the final three week mini round robin top to bottom. Here's the year end standings:
The dinner was top notch - NY Strip steaks, jacket potatoes , sautéed spinach, tomato and fresh mozzarella salads and of course tiramisu for dessert... top two teams collected their just rewards; Bill Drew once again was proclaimed "Nick Malaxos Sandbagger of the Year" and with partner John Madeo won one random draw and "Two Gloves" Kenny Joseph took home the other random draw. Surely his late partner Ron Kutkiewicz had a hand in arranging for me to pull his name from the bucket...
