Three weeks into our “playoff-like” mini round robin 2 and things are still pretty tight up at the top of the standings (see Standings Report) … While points leader Gary H may have faltered a bit, his partner Mike L seems to be hitting his stride. Newcomer and now low handicap player (playing to a 1 handicap!) Mike B – playing near pin / skins with house money; (he took two skins and near pin again this week) – his partner (Dustin’s Bro Joey) is an obvious candidate for the Nick Malaxos Sandbagger of the Year: they’re in second place and still in range for the top spot. They play the league leaders next week. Just a point behind Mike B / Joey H are the Hulls, who get their shot at Mike L / Gary in the concluding match – our league winning team is gonna have to earn it!
