Men’s League Week 10

Do you mark your balls? I keep hearing tales of fruitful searches through the rough where Top-Flites magically turned into Callaways or even the more subtle ball mark “4” turns into a “2” … Do you even know what ball you are hitting? Have you asked your opponents what ball they are playing? Please know your ball and post legitimate scores.

Dustin/Casey continue their winning ways: winning enough holes (4-2-3) and playing close enough to net par to offset the Giant Killers handicap strokes.
The Ghosts eke out a win by one hole (5-4) and net two strokes
The other Giant Killers play net par golf and win in spite of Tom Squires fine net -1 round: both Yvan and Tom shot the best rounds of the week at net 28
Both teams played close enough to net par golf but the Lor’s took 5 holes and won all 28 match/medal points to make a close match look like a runaway
Mitch/Chevy’s upward march continues as they replace the ex-champs into 2nd place in a well played match where every stroke taken cost or won points
Skip had a strong comeback week and Average Barney held his own as Andrew/Florencio had an off week
Closest match of the week: Justin/Zach win via Medal points (69-68 net – one stroke!)

Ken Steinbuch hit and held the 8th green and made his 121″ putt for the $52 near pin win AND a $7.80 skin. Mike Lor gobbled up 3 skins ($23.40) and Skip Parcell grabbed one for himself with his birdie on #5 ($7.80) to pocket $0.80 from his $7 bet.
