Week 11 Men’s League

The Hulls have, at least for the moment, regained first place. Ken Steinbuch /James Litaker fell to 3rd place on the strength of “Nick Malaxos Sandbagger of the Year” (aka most improved golfer) candidate Fred Wedding who fired a week’s best 42 net 25 (in spite of taking 15 strokes on the par 4’s) to offset James Litaker’s respectable 40 net 30. Four teams are within easy reach of first place; four additional teams are within reach of fifth place… looks like it will be a race to the finish…

Ron held his own against hot hand Gary Hessberger – both shoot net 29’s but newcomer Kenny Joseph couldn’t match Daniel’s 38 net 31 despite getting 6 strokes from the champ.
Dustin/Casey move into 4th place and are in range of the leaders after a big win.
Jamie/Chris make a big move into second place and Justin/Zach move to 5th place – a showdown with the Hull’s await Justin/Zach next week…
Skip beat Mitch handily but Larry saved team Hull with a 39 net 30 to put the Hulls in first place
Close match as Brian/Harry edged Dan/Mike by a net stroke apiece.
“The Kid” returned from orbit with a “handicap helper” 39 net 37 as Ken Steinbuch posted a 41 net 32 but Fred Wedding’s bid for “Sandbagger of the Year” posting a 42 net 25 spoiled James Litaker’s 40 net 30.
Mike Lor’s 34 net 32 wasn’t enough to offset Lenny’s 36 net 30 and “The Big Canuck” ruined Jonathan Crane’s 40 net 30 with a 37 net 26 …
