Another Wednesday, another afternoon of rain… ugh. Well… next week’s early forecast is for 90+ degrees… will that come with unbearable humidity and a late afternoon thundershower?
The Hull’s may have fallen out of first place (actually more of a BIG jump by Justin / Zach) BUT… they managed to pocket the ENTIRE week 4 near pin / skins pot ($80). Senor Larry might have picked up two handicap strokes via a 47 net 40 but he still managed to stick the 5th green to 10’3″ to cover his end of year dinner bill with a $32 win. Son Mitch, always a threat to score a skin, managed the only skin in the field with his birdie 2 on #6… Every other potential skin got covered – Ron Kutkiewicz covered Mike Lor’s par on #1; the back tee position protected par on #2 (7 bogies); Justin, James, and Jamie parred #3; 6 pars on #4; the Hull’s and the Dan’s (O’ + Eignor) parred #5; Dan O’, Mike Lor, and Skip parred #7 (and Harry Saslow failed to ante up and so his birdie went for naught); 5 pars on #8; and finally – Mitch cancelled out Mike Lor’s par on #9 with one of his own leaving his birdie on #6 as the lone skin of the day and good for a $48 payday… wow.
